About us

In addition to intensive research and development, new technologies require well-founded training and further education of specialists. At Fraunhofer IFAM in Bremen, the "Technical Qualification and Consulting" department provides application-oriented content on current research topics from the Fraunhofer cosmos in various seminars and lectures. The various courses provide participants with the latest research results and up-to-date knowledge from practice. In addition, our experts provide insights into their research work and answer questions on current topics. As a long-standing cooperation partner of the Fraunhofer Academy, we are guided by its mission statement:

How to reach us

By car

Freeway A 27, exit Horn-Lehe/Universität in direction University; at the first traffic light turn right into the Hochschulring. After about 1 km turn left into the Wiener Straße. Parking facility behind the institute (Gate).

By train

From Bremen main station use tram No. 6 (line E) in direction University, leave at Klagenfurter Straße (16 min.). Turn right and follow Hochschulring to Wiener Straße. About 500 m's walk to the IFAM.

By air

From Bremen Airport use tram No. 6 to University, leave at Klagenfurter Straße (25 min.). Turn right and follow Hochschulring to Wiener Straße. About 500 m's walk to the IFAM.

In order to make the course stay as pleasant as possible for the participants, there are three hotels very close to Fraunhofer IFAM, all within walking distance. The Technical Qualification and Consulting will provide meals for participants during the seminars (lunch, refreshments during breaks).
